Mario Beccia is a former Italian professional cyclist, who was particularly at home on difficult, mountainous routes. A professional from the late 1970s to the mid-1980s, he made his mark mainly in major stage races and the Italian classics.
Among the highlights of his career was his victory in the 1980 Tour de Suisse, one of his finest achievements. He also won several stages of the Giro d’Italia, where his climbing ability enabled him to stand out amongst the best riders of his era. In 1982, he also secured a prestigious victory in the Flèche Wallonne. His consistency and fighting spirit made him one of the stalwarts of Italian cycling during that period.

During his career, Bennati won stages in all three Grand Tours. Notably, he has two stage victories in the Tour de France, several wins in the Giro d’Italia and numerous victories in the Vuelta a España. He particularly distinguished himself in 2007 by winning the prestigious final stage of the Tour de France on the Champs-Élysées.

Marcello Bergamo was an Italian professional cyclist active during the first half of the 1970s. A solid road racer, he rode notably for the Filotex team, one of the leading Italian teams of that period.
Throughout his career, Marcello Bergamo distinguished himself on Italian roads and in several international races. He notably took part in the Giro d’Italia, where his all-round riding skills enabled him to compete alongside the great champions of his era. He also won several races, including the Tour de Romandie in 1971, one of the major successes of his career.
The jersey presented here is an authentic Filotex jersey, the Italian team for which Marcello Bergamo rode in the early 1970s.
