Winner’s Trophy – Tour of El Salvador 2005
Edita Pucinskaitė is one of the greatest Lithuanian cyclists in history. Competing at the highest international level from 1993 to 2010, this outstanding climber also distinguished herself in championships and stage races.
She won the Grande Boucle Féminine Internationale in 1998, before becoming World Road Champion in Verona in 1999. She also won the silver medal at the World Championships in 2001.
This trophy was presented to Edita Pucinskaitė after her overall victory in the 2005 Tour of El Salvador.
The second edition of the women’s Tour of El Salvador was held from 30 September to 4 October 2005. She immediately took the lead by winning the prologue, then confirmed her superiority in the following stages. With three victories, she secured the overall classification. Her team achieved a remarkable clean sweep: Edita Pucinskaitė finished ahead of Salvadoran rider Evelyn García and Italy’s Sigrid Corneo.
This trophy commemorates a victory achieved far from Europe’s major competitions and highlights the international dimension of Edita Pucinskaitė’s career.
Preserved in the Musée Virtuel du Cyclisme – Collections Noël GREGOIRE, this trophy is a precious reminder of one of Edita Pucinskaitė’s many stage-race victories.

Honorary Award received in Ponte Buggianese in 2007
Originally from Lithuania, Edita Pucinskaitė established herself as one of the leading figures in women’s cycling in the late 1990s and throughout the 2000s.
She achieved her first major success in 1998 by winning the Grande Boucle Féminine Internationale. In 1999, in Verona, she claimed the prestigious title of World Road Champion and also won the bronze medal in the time trial.
A regular presence among the world’s best riders, she became Vice World Road Champion in 2001 and won the women’s Giro d’Italia twice, in 2006 and 2007.
Her achievements also include the Tour de Thuringe, the Tour of Tuscany, the Emakumeen Bira, the Grand Prix de Plouay and several Lithuanian national championship titles. Through the richness and longevity of her career, Edita Pucinskaitė remains an emblematic figure in international women’s cycling.
This piece is an honorary award presented to Edita Pucinskaitė on 23 April 2007 in Ponte Buggianese, a municipality in Tuscany, Italy. This award does not commemorate a particular sporting result. It is a token of recognition and friendship presented to Edita Pucinskaitė by a local cycling association.
This distinction has a different character from the jerseys, medals and race numbers usually associated with a champion’s career. It reflects the recognition given to Edita Pucinskaitė by the Italian cycling community, in a country where she spent a significant part of her career.

Jersey commemorating her victory in the 2007 Giro d’Italia Femminile
Edita Pucinskaitė ranks among the greatest champions in the history of Lithuanian women’s cycling. A complete rider, outstanding climber and formidable stage-race competitor, she performed at the highest international level for nearly two decades.
In 1998, she won the Grande Boucle Féminine Internationale, regarded at the time as the women’s equivalent of the Tour de France. The following year, in Verona, she became World Road Champion and also won the bronze medal in the time trial.
Her impressive record also includes two consecutive victories in the women’s Giro d’Italia, in 2006 and 2007, as well as numerous international successes.
This piece is a pink jersey commemorating Edita Pucinskaitė’s victory in the 2007 Giro d’Italia Femminile.
