His ‘Rabobank’ jersey worn in 2002
Michael Boogerd is a former Dutch professional cyclist and one of the leading figures in Dutch cycling during the 1990s and 2000s. A professional from 1994 to 2007, he spent the bulk of his career with the Rabobank team, becoming one of its most iconic riders. An excellent climber and specialist in hilly races, he particularly excelled in the Ardennes classics and on demanding courses.
During his career, Michael Boogerd notably won two stages of the Tour de France, in 1996 and 2002. He also triumphed at Paris–Nice in 1999 and won the Dutch road cycling championship on several occasions. Consistently strong in the major classics, he achieved numerous podium finishes in prestigious races such as the Amstel Gold Race, Liège–Bastogne–Liège and the Tour of Lombardy.
The jersey presented here is an authentic Rabobank jersey worn by Michael Boogerd in 2002. The year 2002 was a particularly memorable season for Boogerd. In the Tour de France, he won the prestigious 16th stage between Les Deux Alpes and La Plagne solo, following a long breakaway in the mountains. This victory remains one of the highlights of his career.
Preserved as part of the collection, this jersey is a valuable testament to the Rabobank era and to the career of one of the most popular Dutch cyclists of his generation.

His ‘Peugeot – Michelin – Shell’ jersey, worn in 1982 and 1983
Jacques Bossis is a former French professional cyclist who competed in the professional peloton from 1976 to 1985. A solid and versatile rider, he spent much of his career riding for the prestigious Peugeot team, one of the most iconic teams in the history of French cycling.
During his career, Jacques Bossis competed in several major international races and distinguished himself in particular at the Tour de France. In 1978, he won a stage of the Tour de France and wore the prestigious yellow jersey for a day, a particularly memorable moment in his career. He also enjoyed several successes in French races and competed in the major classics on the professional calendar.
The jersey presented here is an authentic Peugeot – Michelin – Shell jersey worn by Jacques Bossis in 1982 and 1983. The jersey also holds special value thanks to Jacques Bossis’s personal dedication, which states, amongst other things, that it was worn in 1982. Preserved alongside a photograph of the rider himself presenting the item, this jersey is a precious memento of Jacques Bossis’s career and that of the legendary Peugeot team.

BOUET Maxime (F)

His leader’s jersey in the Hotspots classification – 2008 Circuit de Lorraine
Maxime Bouet is a French cyclist who turned professional in 2008 after completing a training stint with Agritubel the previous year. A well-rounded rider, equally at ease on undulating routes and in stage races, he quickly made his mark in the professional peloton. In his very first full season, he won the prologue of the 2008 Tour de Normandie, the first professional victory of his career.
That same year, he took part in the Circuit de Lorraine Professionnel, held from 21 to 25 May 2008. Maxime Bouet put in a remarkable performance there, finishing 4th in the general classification, just twelve seconds behind the winner, Steve Chainel. He also won the young rider classification for the event.
The jersey shown here is the leader’s jersey for the ‘Points Chauds’ classification at the 2008 Circuit de Lorraine, worn by Maxime Bouet whilst riding for the Agritubel team. This jersey thus serves as a testament to Maxime Bouet’s professional debut and to the 2008 season, during which the young Frenchman began to demonstrate his qualities in stage races.
