DELEPINE Régis (F) (22.12.1946)
Gan–Mercier–Hutchinson training kit and race bag – 1972 and 1973 seasons
Régis Delépine, born in La Bohalle in Maine-et-Loire, is a former French professional cyclist. Active as a professional from 1970 to 1980, he distinguished himself as a reliable team-mate, a tenacious breakaway rider and a specialist in long, gruelling races.
Riding for Gan–Mercier–Hutchinson, he won a stage of the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré in 1972, followed by Paris–Camembert and a stage of the Tour d’Indre-et-Loire in 1973. That same year, he achieved a remarkable ninth place in Paris–Roubaix.
His list of achievements also includes victory in Bordeaux–Paris in 1974, as well as several other top finishes in this great endurance classic. In 1977, riding for Peugeot–Esso–Michelin, he won a stage of the Tour de France and triumphed in Paris–Bourges. In total, he took part in nine editions of the Tour de France.
This collection brings together several Gan–Mercier–Hutchinson training outfits that belonged to Régis Delépine, as well as a feed bag, all used during the 1972 and 1973 seasons.
Unlike a single race jersey, these outfits and this feed bag offer a glimpse into the rider’s daily life, his preparation and the team spirit within the squad. They provide a better understanding of the material and human aspects of professional cycling during that era.
Presented as part of the Noël GREGOIRE Collections, this collection thus constitutes a valuable record of Régis Delépine’s 1972 and 1973 seasons and of the history of the Gan–Mercier–Hutchinson team.

DELISLE Raymond (F) (11.03.1943 – 11.08.2013)
His King of the Mountains jersey – Paris–Nice 1975
Raymond Delisle was one of the finest French cyclists of the 1960s and 1970s. A professional from 1965 to 1977, he distinguished himself through his climbing ability, his attacking style and his aptitude for long breakaways.
A long-standing member of the Peugeot–BP–Michelin team, he became French road champion in 1969. That same year, wearing the tricolour jersey, he won the Tour de France stage held on 14 July between Castelnaudary and Luchon.
Raymond Delisle competed in twelve Tours de France. In 1976, he won the Pyrénées 2000 stage, wore the yellow jersey for two days and finished fourth in the overall classification. He also achieved a remarkable ninth place in 1977.
This jersey, awarded to the winner of the King of the Mountains classification, brings together several key aspects of cycling history: a French champion, one of the great Peugeot teams, Paris–Nice, and the King of the Mountains classification from an edition marked by two stage victories for Raymond Delisle.
Featured in the Noël GREGOIRE Collections, this jersey thus represents a remarkable memento of the 1975 Paris–Nice and one of the most significant performances of Raymond Delisle’s career.

DEMARBAIX Sébastien (B) (19.12.1973)
His AG2R Prévoyance jersey worn during the 2001 season
Born in Bois-de-Lessines, Belgium, Sébastien Demarbaix is a former Belgian professional cyclist. A professional from 1996 to 2002, he stood out for his versatility, his climbing ability and his capacity to fulfil a valuable role as a team mate.
During his career, he rode for teams including Lotto–Isoglass, Palmans–Ideal, Lotto–Mobistar and AG2R Prévoyance. In 1999, he achieved a remarkable third place in the Japan Cup, an international race held in Japan.
Sébastien Demarbaix took part in three consecutive editions of the Tour de France, in 1999, 2000 and 2001. After his racing career, he remained in the world of cycling by becoming a sports director, putting his experience to good use with several professional teams.
This item is a jersey from the AG2R Prévoyance team worn by Sébastien Demarbaix during the 2001 season. The jersey also bears a handwritten inscription attributed to the rider. It is accompanied by a personal message dated 28 February 2015 and signed by Sébastien Demarbaix. These elements reinforce the direct link between the item on display and its former owner.
